This registry serves as a global repository for information on ongoing Pharmaceuticals Phase II to Phase IV studies, and for Diagnostics clinical studies on advanced diagnostic products.

The registry is populated with Roche clinical trials that fit the following criteria:

• All planned and active Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics Roche-sponsored interventional trials (as of October 1, 2004), and all Phase I studies in patients (as of December 1, 2006), that have received IRB / IEC or Competent Authority approval:
• Roche Pharmaceuticals will post all Phase I studies in patients and all Phase II-IV trials;
• Roche Diagnostics will post interventional trials on advanced diagnostic products.
• Roche will continue to post information on a regular basis.

The status of the studies will be identified as:

• Not yet recruiting, recruiting, or no longer recruiting;
• Completed, suspended or terminated.

The information contained in the registry is presented in lay terms. The objective is to inform the public, in particular patients, their caregivers and healthcare professionals, as to the trial's purpose and conditions of participation. A key aim of this registry is to assist patients, in consultation with their physicians, in finding clinical trials that may be appropriate for them.
